We offer multiple levels of scholarships to meet different family needs:

• Automatic 100% Scholarship: Families receiving SNAP, Medicaid, or Free/Reduced Lunch automatically qualify for full free membership with a current benefits statement.
• Tiered Scholarships: Families not receiving benefits may qualify for reduced rates based on household income.
• Crisis Support: Families facing emergencies or sudden hardships may receive temporary 100% coverage with no documentation required.

Our scholarship application is simple, confidential, and valid for 12 months.

Submit your application in three easy ways:

1. Online – Upload a photo of your benefit statement through your Parent Portal
2. Email – Send documentation to scholarships@greatfuturessd.org
3. In Person – Drop off documents in a sealed envelope at any Club location

Only the CEO, CFO, and designated financial staff can view scholarship documents. Your child’s site staff will NOT see your financial information.

Your privacy is protected at all times:

• Scholarship information is never shared with staff who work with your child
• Other families cannot see or access your status
• Conversations about finances are handled privately and with dignity
• Documents are stored securely

Your child will never be treated differently based on what you pay.

Families never pay membership fees for more than three children. Starting with the fourth child, membership is fully covered at no cost. This policy applies to all youth enrolled in our Traditional Club programs, from Junior Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Choose ONE of the following:

For Automatic 100% Scholarships

Upload one current benefit statement (EBT card, Medicaid card, approval letter, etc.)

For Tiered Scholarships (20–80%)

Submit one of the following:

• Paystub(s)
• Prior year tax return
• Unemployment statement
• Any income documentation

OR explain your current hardship (job loss, medical crisis, etc.)

We ALWAYS work with families facing unexpected hardship—even without formal documents.
