Traditional Club Coming This Fall! 🎉
You asked — we listened!
Starting
August 20, the Boys & Girls Club of Vermillion is expanding with a
Traditional Site, giving families more options — all at the same trusted location.
Whether your child is just starting school or entering their teen years, we provide safe spaces, caring mentors, and life‑changing programs that help every member reach their full potential.
What is the Traditional Club?
The Traditional Club offers a safe, welcoming, and engaging space for school‑age youth in grades 3–12 to connect with friends, explore interests, and participate in a wide range of enrichment programs — all guided by caring mentors who believe in their potential.
Unlike our Academy program for JK–2nd graders, which operates as licensed childcare with structured schedules, state‑regulated staff‑to‑child ratios, and tuition fees, the Traditional Club provides more flexibility for families and a wider variety of interest‑based programs for older youth. Thanks to grant funding, Traditional Club membership — typically $100/year — is now FREE through June 30, 2026.
This expansion reflects our commitment to meeting the needs of more families and creating age‑appropriate experiences that help every member grow. Through fun, meaningful activities and mentorship, youth in our Traditional Club work toward Boys & Girls Clubs’ priority outcomes:
- Academic Success 📚– Building skills, confidence, and motivation to learn
- Healthy Lifestyles 🍎 – Encouraging good habits and overall well‑being
- Character & Leadership 🌟 – Developing responsibility, respect, and leadership skills
- Life & Workforce Readiness đź’Ľ– Preparing for future education, careers, and independence
Our mission is clear: to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. The Traditional Club is one more way we’re opening the door to Great Futures in Vermillion.
