Club Runway
During Boys & Girls Club week,
the youth had the opportunity to take part in many different activities. One of these activities was the Club Runway
project in which the youth were able to dress in a style that suited them. The youth then were judged by local mystery
judges on style, flare and walk. This
event was a hit for the youth as more than 20 youth entered into the competition.
During April 14-19 we will be focusing as a Club on community service that week. During this time we will be doing acts of kindness such as going on garbage patrol, planting flowers and helping with spring clean ups. Youth will need to be signed up for the event that day.
Club Races!
Club Races is a monthly challenge youth experience on full days. Youth are divided into teams and take part in whack races. Some of the youth’s favorites are leap frog, the shoe mix up and the ballet race. This event is an hour long and all youth have a chance to show off some of their very unique talents. We will be having these again in March.
